On March 3, 2013 De Motu Watches Ltd had the honor of participating in the prestigious Näytön Paikka event at the Stock Exchange, in which the cream of Finnish watchmakers and artisans showcased their unique creations. The event was organized by the Finnish Watchmaker Association along with the School of Watchmakers, the Finnish Watch Museum, Aseman Kello, the Auno and Mauri Riuttu Foundation, the Federation of Finnish Enterprises, the Special Trade Association, and Kellomies.

On September 27 De Motu Watches Ltd will attend the prestigious Finnish event known as Kellomies (“Watch Guy”) that takes place at the Suomenlinna Castle, in Helsinki. Here, among renown brands like Certina, Eterna, Hirsch, Omega, Raymond Weil, Seiko, TAG Heuer, Tissot and Zenith, De Motu will be showcasing its revolutionary Pilot Instruments to the local connoisseurs.

SHOWCASE AT BASELWORLD 2012

DE MOTU AIRCRAFT AT SAMI KONTIO CHALLENGE

On August 13th the De Motu airplanes conquered the skies at Helsinki-Malmi Airport. Challenging massive g-forces, dodging pylons at top speeds meters over the ground over a customized racetrack, world-famous aerobatic pilots Frank Versteegh (NL), Jeff Boerboon (USA), Mikhail Mamistov (RUS), Martin Šonka (Czech Republic), and our own test pilot Sami Kontio performed amazing freestyle aerobatics, and displayed the thrilling “race against time” routine.

DE MOTU INTRODUCES THE WORLD’S FIRST G-METER WATCH

Helsinki-Malmi Airport, Finland / March 16, 2011

Not often can watch manufacturers call themselves revolutionary, but De Motu Watches Ltd can: the De Motu DMG 11 is the world’s first g-meter watch. A new legend is born.

This manufacture movement watch faithfully tells the time (no surprise there), but activate its main function in a high-load situation… and it accurately tells current and maximum recorded g’s! No other watch manufacturer has ever tried something like this.

“Our product would have been ready years ago if we had taken the easy route. It took us longer, but the final quality and reliability of the DMG-11 shows we don’t compromise. We are proud and thrilled by our tenacity and the ingenuity we showed in mastering every challenge.”
